An initial offsite assessment was carried out to to verify the site location and property structure through satellite imagery and requested onsite photos. This step is essential for the SMEs to identify the best possible installation point, proper mounting hardware to be used, cable routing path and any obstructions that could impact Starlink installation. Next, the team routed the Starlink cable from the existing cable path and was sealed with a grommet and weatherproof sealant to prevent water ingress. The cable was then routed to the designated indoor location of the Gen 2 WiFi mesh router and connected to it.
The team then activated the Starlink system, configured the user’s SSID and password. The second Gen3 WiFi mesh router were placed on the office room to extend the WiFi signal coverage throughout the home.

Then, the Starlink speed test was done twenty minutes after installation to verify the Starlink internet performance through the metrics of download speed, upload speed and latency. It is important to note that it takes upto 12 hours to achieve optimal speeds.
