2. Onsite Starlink Residential Installation in West Monroe, LA

Our professional Starlink residential installation in West Monroe, LA team arrived onsite and performed a Starlink obstruction test, as shown in the image below. The installation team securely mounted the Starlink dish on a 10-ft galvanized pole. A trench was then excavated to bury the Starlink cable, which was routed into the home through a protected pathway.

Once inside, the cable was run to the designated location (1st floor living room) of the main Gen3 WiFi mesh router, where it was plugged. The router was powered, activated the Starlink system and configured the user’s WiFi settings.The SSID and password were configured with the customer for a secure and personalized network. 3. Starlink Performance Testing

After completing the Starlink installation, they conducted an Starlink alignment test to confirm precise dish positioning. This essential step ensures a clear line of sight to the satellite network.

Then, the Starlink speed tests were done twenty minutes after installation to verify the Starlink internet performance through the metrics of download speed, upload speed and latency. It is important to note that it takes upto 12 hours to achieve optimal speeds.

The Starlink connection is delivering outstanding performance, with speed tests indicating high bandwidth and low latency. This confirms the setup can seamlessly support demanding workloads, including multiple 4K streams, cloud-based applications and online gaming.
