An initial offsite assessment was carried out to determine the technical feasibility of the location for the Starlink installation. This involved analyzing satellite images, reviewing on-site photos, evaluating the roof type, identifying possible obstructions and customer requirements. Then, we could determine the necessary parts, materials, mounting solutions, and manpower for a smooth installation.
After assessment of the service request, our team submitted the installation proposal and approved by the customer. With the materials and equipment ready onsite, we coordinated the instalaltion schedule with our professional Starlink installers in Visalia, CA.
Our Starlink installers arrived at the site to perform the following:
The SOW (scope of work):
To initiate the installation, a Starlink obstructions test was performed at the predetermined location to verify a “Good experience” rating, signifying clear of sight that would give a stable satellite connection.

The Starlink dish was securely installed using a pivot mount, which allowed precise adjustments and oriented the dish for the best possible signal reception.

The Starlink cable enters the utility area from an upper section of the metal pole conduit. It runs vertically downward toward the lower left corner, where excess cable was coiled on the floor near the planned location for the Starlink router. The setup is in the rough-in stage, with additional structured wiring visible overhead and no finished wall plates or enclosures yet installed. This routing allows for a central and protected installation point for networking equipment within the space.

The Starlink cable was then connected to the advanced power supply. Using an ethernet cable was used to connect Starlink to the existing network (MDF) and the router in bypass mode, integrating Starlink into the existing network while offloading the heavy lifting (routing and managing traffic) to other network devices.
Our Starlink installers conducted the Starlink alignment test using the Starlink app to confirm that the dish had a clear, unobstructed view of the sky, an essential factor for ensuring a stable connection with minimal disruptions.

To check the internet connection and its performance, a speed test was performed by our team. The download speed of 296.18 Mbps is excellent, providing smooth streaming, large downloads, and multiple device support. The upload speed of 21.38 Mbps is more than sufficient for video conferencing, content uploads, and cloud backups. The low latency of 23 ms is perfect for real-time applications like gaming and VoIP calls.

It is important to note that Starlink may take up to 12 hours to optimize its connection, scanning the sky and optimizing satellite connections. Temporary speed fluctuations or brief dropouts can occur, but once stabilized, it ensures a reliable high-speed connection.
