The SOW (scope of work):

•  Install Starlink Enterprise Kit on the rooftop using SnowBlox SataMount brackets and starlink Pivot Mount
• Determine cable path and entry point with customer’s approval
• Install Starlink (proprietary High Performance) cable use Masonry (cable) routing kit to replace existing grommets/cable pass through and seal. 
• Activate & configure the Starlink Gen3 WiFi mesh routers and place them on customer approved location with optimal coverage across the warehouse.
• Guide the customer on how to use the Starlink App.
• Test and document the installations with photos.

The Starlink installer arrived on time and performed a Starlink Obstructions Test using the Starlink App, a crucial step in determining the best placement for the dish. This evaluation ensured a clear sky view, optimizing connectivity to the Starlink satellite network. The test resulted in a rating of “Good Experience,” confirming that the chosen location is ideal for a stable, high-speed connection suitable for streaming, browsing, video calls, and gaming.

We securely mount and install the Starlink Enterprise Dish using SnowBlox SataMount brackets and the Starlink Pivot Mount, ensuring a stable and weather-resistant setup. The mount brackets provide a strong, durable attachment designed to withstand harsh weather conditions like heavy snow, strong winds, and rain, preventing displacement and maintaining optimal alignment. Meanwhile, the Starlink Pivot Mount allows precise angle adjustments, ensuring an unobstructed sky view for maximum signal strength.

We carefully routed the Starlink cable along the roof and down the wall, leading to the indoor location of the Gen3 WiFi Mesh Router, which was strategically placed in a customer-approved spot to ensure maximum WiFi coverage and signal strength.

Using the Starlink App, we customized the Gen3 WiFi Mesh Router, setting up the customer’s preferred network name (SSID) and password for a seamless connection. Additionally, we positioned two Gen3 mesh routers in optimal locations based on the customer’s preference to enhance coverage throughout the home.

To ensure ease of use, we provided the customer with a walkthrough of the Starlink App’s key features, including how to:

• Access and manage their SSID
• Reset their WiFi password
• Run speed tests
• Refresh or reset the Starlink network
• Troubleshoot common connectivity issues

Starlink Alignment & Performance Testing in Blaine, WA

After the installation, our team performed a Starlink Alignment Test to ensure the dish was in the best possible position for continuous satellite connectivity. The process included carefully assessing the dish’s position, considering the elevation angle, azimuth direction and potential obstructions (e.g., trees, buildings, or other structures).

Then, the Starlink Speed Test was conducted to test the system’s internet performance. It is important to note that Starlink sometimes took approximately 12 hours to synchronize fully. During this period, the system actively scans the sky, connects to available satellites, and optimizes its positioning to ensure the best possible signal strength and stability. Users may experience fluctuations in connectivity, speed, or brief dropouts as the dish fine-tunes its alignment and establishes a consistent link with the satellite constellation. The speed test results confirm that the Starlink setup operates at peak performance, providing fast download speeds, high upload rates and acceptable range latency. These results reflect a successful installation with a clear line of sight to the satellites, minimal interference and strong signal strength, guaranteeing a reliable internet connection.
